How the raid calculator works
Every number is calculated from Rust's own game files: each target's health and damage protection, and each explosive's damage and crafting recipe. The data is extracted again after every Rust update; this page uses Rust build 26139947.
Outside and inside
Walls, doors and hatches take less damage from the outside (the hard side) than from the inside (the soft side). Rockets, beancans and bullets lose damage on the hard side, while C4 and satchels stick to the target and do the same damage from either side.
What the counts assume
Every hit lands at the centre of the blast, and every satchel and beancan goes off. In a real raid some fail to explode, so bring a few spare. Explosive ammo is counted from the Assault Rifle at point blank.
