OhnePixel's new team "DRILLAS" is Heading to the CS2 Shanghai Major RMRs

The journey to one of the most prestigious CS2 events is well underway, and OhnePixel's newly signed team, DRILLAS, has secured their spot in the upcoming Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 Asia RMR. Following a dominant run through the Middle East RMR Closed Qualifiers, DRILLAS is now preparing to take on some of the best teams in the region as they aim for a place in the CS2 Shanghai Major.

Dominating the Middle East RMR Closed Qualifiers

From August 28th to August 30th, 2024, DRILLAS faced off against seven other teams in the Middle East RMR Closed Qualifiers. The competition was fierce, but DRILLAS showed their determination early on. After an intense series of matches, they defeated the Onyx Ravens 2-0 in the grand finals to claim the top spot, guaranteeing their entry into the Asia RMR. The team's resilience was especially evident in the lower bracket, where they swept past NOM and Superfkrs to earn their shot at redemption in the finals, ultimately coming out on top.

The Road to the CS2 Shanghai Major

Having won the Middle East Closed Qualifier, DRILLAS now shifts their focus to the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 Asia RMR, which will take place in Shanghai, China, from November 11th to November 14th, 2024. The stakes are incredibly high as the top three teams from this event will earn a coveted spot in the upcoming CS2 Shanghai Major.

DRILLAS will be competing alongside seven other top teams from across Asia, including renowned names such as The MongolZ (#13 ranked), FlyQuest (#28 ranked), and Lynn Vision (#55 ranked).
