The SSG 08 Abyss is a sniper rifle skin featuring a blue and black hydrographic pattern, reminiscent of deep ocean currents.

The skin was designed by a community artist known as 'red', contributing to the diverse styles found in CS2.

Released on July 1, 2014, the SSG 08 Abyss became part of The Breakout Collection during the Operation Breakout update.

As a member of The Breakout Collection, the Abyss skin is associated with one of the pivotal updates in CS2's history.
